Ray’s Hometown Bar, the NYC Watering Hole Backed by Justin Theroux and Nicholas Braun, Arrives in Miami Beach

Photographing the essence of Ray's Hometown Bar in Miami Beach was a great experience. The bar's moody lighting plays a pivotal role in defining its iconic ambiance, creating an inviting yet mysterious atmosphere that draws patrons in. By employing light painting techniques, I was able to accentuate the bar's unique features, highlighting the interplay between shadows and light to evoke the intended mood.

Collaborating with Authentic Hospitality was a delight. Their team, brimming with creative minds from NYC, brought a dynamic energy to the project, making the process both enjoyable and inspiring. Their dedication to authenticity and innovation is evident in every aspect of their work, and it was a privilege to contribute to their vision.

Ray's Hometown Bar, known for its unpretentious vibe and welcoming atmosphere, has become a beloved spot for both locals and visitors. The Miami Beach location, designed by Taavo Somer, features vintage neon lighting and vinyl booths, creating a familiar yet distinctive setting.

The bar's programming includes themed nights like "ThursTays," a Taylor Swift-themed event, and offers signature cocktails such as the whiskey-based "Ray Charles." These elements contribute to Ray's reputation as a place where patrons can genuinely relax and enjoy themselves.

Overall, photographing Ray's Hometown Bar in Miami was a rewarding experience, allowing me to capture the unique atmosphere that makes it a standout destination in Miami Beach.
