Prada Marfa is an iconic site-specific land art installation set against the vast West Texas desert, conceived in 2005 by the artist duo Elmgreen & Dragset. Designed to resemble a sealed luxury boutique, the structure blurs the line between fashion, architecture, and landscape, inviting reflection on consumerism and place.

Diana Todorova photographed Prada Marfa during a photography workshop trip to Marfa—an incredibly inspiring experience. The images were captured at sunrise on a freezing winter morning, when the soft desert light and stillness amplified the surreal presence of the building—isolated, quiet, and almost cinematic against the open horizon.
